I´ve just installed Exchange on our SBS 2003. Problem: Exchange downloads
every mail from our webhotel server (POP), which is now empty. Therefore I
can't check my new mails from home. Is there a way to setup Exchange to leave
a copy in webhotel?

We have dynamic IP in our company. In office outlook 2003 I made two email
accounts: one for exchange and one for webhotel. (First I have only exchange
account, but Outlook didn't send (or was it receive) any mails; creating
account for webhotel fixed that problem). I installed pop3 connector manager.

Thanks in advantage,

Juha R.

You need to use a 3rd party POP3 connector for that functionality
(IIRC) POPCON and POPBeamer are two ones that are often mentioned.

Why don't you subscribe to the dyndns service and get a free url for
your dymanic address and then set up remote connectivity to your
Exchange server?

Thanks Mark

I'll try dyndns. We'll get fixed IP later and it is good idea to confiqure
Exchange for that scenario. What are the main steps when debloing Exchange
with fixed IP?

BTW. I support a client which has ISPs webmail as a backup anf for home
access. Exchange leaves the copy on ISPs server. I don't suppose they have
any 3rd party SW. Is it possible in our scenario?
