I Have installed Exchange Server 2007 on to a Server 2008 64Bit it sends
mail with no issues but wouldnt recieve.

i did a diagnostic and on the mail recieve it says these 2 things are
stopping the mail coming in.

1. Mail submission failed: Error message: Server does not support secure
connections..
2. Mail submission failed: Error message: The SMTP host was not specified..

My exchange server is currently set as
blackpole-mail.BLACKPOLERECYCLING.LOCAL
I have a domain name bprecycling.co.uk ported to my Static IP and i have
Port 25 Open on my router for SMTP pointing to the Exchange Server IP
192.168.1.2.

I need my exchange server to accept mail from bprecycling.co.uk can someone
please advise as to what i do to rectify this issue.

Could it be a host issue i.e. needing a smart host or have i setup the
Recieve Connector wrong.

Thanks in advance.

Matt,

Check your receive connector and verify it has

"Anonymous Users" checked on the permission groups tab.

This will allow any mail server connecting on port 25 to send
you mail.

Also verify under "Organization Configuration" Accepted domain tab
that you have the correct entry for your exchange server domain name.
