I have a user that sent an email and the email bounce between 4 of our
exchange servers. We have recently installed exchange 2007 on a new server
and my knowledge of the system is limited at this point. I have looked at the
connectors but i dont see what is causing the message to loop thru the 4
servers over and over until it hits the max hop count.

i can send a screen shot of the message log if needed.

Any help would be appreciated!

After digging into the issue a bit more i have found the system only does
this when it is trying to send emails to domains that don't exist. When an
email such as this is sent it bounces around to 4 different servers instead
of just sitting on the outbound server and trying until it times out. Can
anyone shed some light on why this might be happening?

Check your send connectors.
