hello everyone,
Im just about to migrate to a new exchange 2007 (from 2003), i just have a
few questions
I have a sites setup on AD for a small remote location, does it mean that I
need a hub transport in that site? is yes is there any workaround not to you
have hub transport in that site? if I must have a hub transport in the event
its a separate site, would simply moving the DC to the site with the hub
transport and deleting the site(?) take care of it?
I have a valid certificate on the old exchange server from Thawte, i'll just
export the certificate from the old server, can i just import the
certificate on the new exchange server using IIS or do i need to use the
Import-ExchangeCertificate / Enable-ExchangeCertificate cmdlts? do i first
need to remove the self signed certificate? whats the difference between
bringing in the certificate using IIS or the above cmdlts? does it enable
the certificate for everything including Outlook Anywhere, OWA, POP, IMAP,
ExchangeActiveSync?
will the recipient policy retain the old settings once policy is converted
to native? if not will it re-apply the settings thereby changing the users
SMTP address?
sorry for double posting but i to get this going like now
Thank you so much!
