Exchange 2003 SP1 Cross site mailbox moves - not working!

Hi,

I am running two Exchange 5.5 SP4 (&post SP4 rollup patch) sites on
Windows 2000 Server SP4.

This is operating in an AD 2003 functional level domain.

I have installed Windows Server 2003 SP1 on a new server and installed
the Exchange 2003 ADC SP1. Then installed Exchange 2003, then Exchange
2003 SP1.

I have two domains and the two exchange sites are in different domains.

Cross site mailbox moves do not work, there is no error, the option is
simply not there in Exchange tasks. It is for the intra site moves and
that works fine.

The account I am using is an enterprise admin and is a service account
admin for exchange 5.5 in both sites.

Any ideas??? I thought SP1 was capable of this!!

Sorry I forgot to mention the two domains are child domains of an
empty root domain, and all are running at server 2003 functional level.

The 5.5 sites are in each child domain.

Are the 5.5 servers still around and active? Have you changed the Exchange
system to native mode? U will need to do this before this functionality
works IIRC

Yes the 5.5 servers are still around.

Exchange 2003 introduces the capability of cross admin/site group moves
with SP1.

However, if there is no Exchange 2003 server in the site I am moving
from, and moving to, it does not work (not even an option).

For example Site A has a 2003 and 5.5 server, and site B just had a 5.5
server, I could not do cross site moves. When I installed a second
Exchange 2003 server in Site B I could then move mailboxes from Site B
5.5 server to Site A 2003 server.

Strange.

Think its got something to do with SRS.
