Hi,
We are in a Exch 2003 environment with Windows 2003 Active
directory domain.

My question is what is the difference between POP3 Service
and POP3 Virtual Server. The pop3 Service is started on our
exchange server but the Pop3 Virtual server is disabled.

All users are able to send and receive mails and
everything is working fine including outlook webaccess.

Any help will be appreciated.

The service is the enabler and the VSI is the actual server. You can
have several virtual servers on several IP addresses or ports, each
serving different purposes.
