List.ListIndex does not immediately update after List.RemoveItem
I have a list. I remove an item from the list with list.RemoveItem. When you
do this, the item below the removed item becomes selected, if there is an
item. Otherwise, no item will be selected, and ListIndex will be 0.
When I remove the item, I check List.ListIndex, but find it is set to 0 for
a very short period of time. If I wait, it gets set to the proper value.
If I put in a loop that watches the ListIndex and waits for it to be set to
the proper value, I find that the loop repeats about 2000 times, and takes
about .015 seconds. It appears that the list is refreshing itself in the
background while my code continues to execute.
list.refresh does not force List.ListIndex to update. So - how can I force
it to update? I can code around this, but it would be convenient if the
ListIndex would update before VFP lets my code continue. Tag: vesko55@hotmail.com Tag: 182787
