Does anyone have experience running FoxPro under the classic
environment in MacOS X? Some of my forms run, but there's trouble with
FoxPro remembering where files (such as Wizstyle.vcx) are. Setting file
location options in the Options dialog doesn't work. In fact, if I set
file locations, close the dialog, and then re-open it, the options I
just set are gone.

Does anyone have any ideas, or is this a lost cause?

Thanks.

VFP3 for Mac required System 7, if I remember right, and I know it ran as
far up as System 8.6. I've never tried it on System 9, but there've been a
lot of system changes since 7 and obviously no matching changes to VFP for
Mac. The jump to System 9 broke some applications, if I remember right, so
trying to run the whole thing under Classic on OSX is probably pushing your
luck. On the other hand, I seem to remember some known problem with saving
prefs...

Sorry I wasn't able to give specific help. You might try contacting Ed Leafe
http://www.leafe.com - he used to do a lot of VFP Mac stuff.
