Program only, not from screen generator or anything like that. I could run
it in VFP6, but when I try to run it in VFP8, I get an error message that it
can't create the .fxp file.

I'm sure this is a stupid question, but since I don't know the answer, gotta
ask! :)

When you run a PRG, FoxPro must compile the code into an .FXP file. Do you
have rights to create a file in that folder? (Can you have a Notepad text
file to that folder?) Is the PRG file on a network drive? If so, then move
it locally and try again.
