I get the following error when trying to add a field in a table by either
doing a "modi stru" or the "alter table" command.

"No update tables are specified. Use the tables property of the cursor
object."

This has happened after an abnormal shutdown. I have tried doing a
tableupdate and tablerevert but that does not make a difference. Validate
database command does not find anything wrong. I can alter existing fields
with no problem, but can't add new ones. There are only 124 fields in the
table.

Has anyone encountered this before ?

TIA
Sujata

I saw that in the VFP help. It does not help very much as the problem
occurs outside my program as well , in the VFP command window.
