 - Insert and update function! Hi All I have just created two database files with master and detail relationship. For now I'm getting trouble with writing "insert and save" function. Firstly I used VFP6.0 built in master detail relationship to create a form. It works fine. My first question: Can I get into their built in "Insert" and "Update" function for my little modification purpose Or if not, I wrote "Insert" and "save" by myself. As I clicked them the first time, it works fine. But after click "save" and it jumped back to "insert" mode, the old data were displayed on the screen, instead of creating a new record, or even my code was included "append blank" Now I found that the problems were from "the cursor were still pointed at the last record after I hit "save and insert".  - How to display integer value when there is no decimal part? I am using vfp8 and winxp. I have a grid column with recordsource a numeric field with width 5 and decimal 2 in a table. The value is calculated, never entered manually. When the value is 12.25 I want 12.25 displayed, but when the value is 12.00 I want 12 displayed.  - The use of "Activate PopUp .... NoWait" How can I use the option NoWait in a popup menu? While typing in an edit box and after each typed letter a popup appears and remains there. I have to use NoWait option in order to be able to continue typing. The same popup is activated if I right click on the textbox.  - Setting up DCOM impersonation I have an application that is called from the web and it generates pdf documents using printer drivers. My problem seems to be that when the com server runs it is impersonating IUSR which does not have printer drivers available. I have heard that I can overcome the problem if I have the COM server impersonate a particular user. However, this would mean that when the application is distributed every installation would have to manually configure the dcomcnfg settings, I really want to avoid that.  - send email and VFP limitations ? Hi again, I'm using wwIPstuff from west-wind. I dropped it on a form and from there I use it. All works well except : There is a limit of 255 char for the attachments ! I've already discussed this on west-wind messageboard but they said it is not because of wwIPstuff. It is due to Vfp ? They don't have any limit on howmany attachments-pathnames that can be added, at least, from the help file, not more than 1245 char. (Because of the relativaly long pathname where I store the attachments I can only add 5 attachments. I know I can change that but that will only be the very last option, and I hope not) even if I drop the class on a form and manually add the attachments pathnames to it, it doesn't work. I can't add more then 255 char ! Is the max lenght of a property also limited to 255 ?  - Can I use PING in a VFP program? Has anyone ever used a VFP program to issue a ping to an IP address and then checked to see if there was a reply received to the ping? I would like to do this periodically throughout the day to see if a VPN tunnel is operational or not. If I get a response to the ping, I know the VPN tunnel is up.  - Invalid Path or File Name I've run in to a weird problem - have an application in VFP7 running under Windows XP. Client is getting a "Invalid Path or File Name" error - odd part is it is only occurring now and then. They can run for several days the doing the same things and then get the error. Error occurs when running applications - like when closing a form (Not on start up). I did a code search for a "Set Path", and the only hit was where the path is set up in the Main program. I see where FoxPro has this error listed as Error 202, but I couldn't come up with any code to force the error - just keep getting "file does not exists" error. Appreciate any ideas..
