I have a client running my purely VFP based program in terminal service
environment. Sometimes, they donâ??t get the program out properly for some
reasons, say Internet connection. The program is still running in the server.
I know if reboot the server, the program can be terminated. But there are a
few users using the server at the same time. I prefer to let users terminate
the application via a program. Event binding may be used for this case. Any
ideas? TIA.

should this be a server configuration issue ?

maybe this could solve your problem.

under Sessions Tab from user propterties in AD,
select End Sessesion when connection is broken.

I am not familiar with the server. Thatâ??s why I donâ??t understand what you
posted. But I found a way to get the application back. If the connection is
broken, I can use â??Administratorâ?? to get in the server. And then in â??Usersâ??
tab of task manager, right click the user just disconnected and select
â??Connectâ??. I can get the application back and if I want, I can close it
properly.

your users need to have the proper rights to the server directory
where the database is located. you need to talk to the server
administrator. users will need to log in to the server to access
the database, so they will need to be set up as users on the
server.
