Paul?
I am curious to know.
Why, if you have more than 12 locations with at least 5 computer
workstations at each, do you install the program at the workstation end?
You can have a single server for each location and you don't have to ever
worry about the workstations.
I don't swear by Citrix but it could be a good option for you to look at,
unless you preffer Micorsoft Terminal Service Clents.
Either way it would be great for you.
Another thing I would have you think of is, SP1 does not eliminate any of
the options you used to program before, so having everything on a Server
Side would be the best way to maintain your upgrades/updates.
I know it sound crazy because you probably already have something set up,
but to move to this type of setup is really not that expensive, especially
if you already have servers at each location.
Well, this is the best solution I can give you so that you will never go
through this again.
By the way, if you decide to do Citrix, it will help you a lot more than any
other I have seen.
Anyway, what ever you decide to do I hope this helped in some way.
Sincerely,
Johnny Cinco
