I have an odd little problem here. The Step Into button on the Debug
toolbar seems to have gone away. I have the step over, step out, and
run to cursor, but no step into. I can still use the Step Into from
the pulldown menu, but that's rather annoying. Any ideas on how can I
get the Step Into button back?

Right click the toolbar, choose customize. In the customize dialog select
Debug and drag the Step Into button to your toolbar.

(Note that this is standard MS toolbar behavior across all products --
Office, etc.)

Hi Kevin,

Dan's advice fixes your toolbar. Did you know that you can use F8 to step
through a program? Personally, I prefer to keyboard commands rather than use
the mouse.

For some reason, the F8, F7, F6 keys don't work in the debugger on my
computer. I'd like to use the keyboard to step through programs, since
as you mention it is more convenient. When I hit F8, the debugger just
sits there a second as if I did something, but it doesn't advance the
current line.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't know about toolbar dragging.
