The application is developed in FPD 2.6, running in Win 98 with 2 nodes (
peer-to-peer networking ).

The config.fp setting is

RESOURCE=C:\NetProft\FOXUSER.DBF
EDITWORK=C:\NetProft\Temp
SORTWORK=C:\NetProft\Temp
PROGWORK=C:\NetProft\Temp
TMPFILES=C:\NetProft\Temp
CATMAN = OFF
STATUS = OFF
MVCOUNT = 2048
DISPLAY = VGA25

Each system is assigned local drive letter in config.fp ( if not using C:
drive )

What could be the reason for sharing violation error ? We get this error not
for temp files / cursors, not for dbfs

It's an Win 98 operating system error in DOS window. It happens on all the
systems in the network. While the application is running it can happen
while entering data or taking reports.
