I have a series of reports in VFP 7 where the detail band contains a
series of conditional printing items. The detail band in the report
definition is some 3.5" in size but once the print when conditions are
considered an individual detail element is about 1".
The problem that I am seeing is that it seems that a new page is being
taken when the 3.5" of the detail exceeds the apparent amount of space
left on the page. So I am assuming that the Foxpro is not using the
probable actual size of the band to calculate the page jump but rather
the full size of the band. Is there a way to force it use some fixed
value for the width of the detail band that is more consistent with the
actual expected width of the band?
