I find this works in VFP 7.0 and 9.0, but when running from runtime it
doesn't work. Is it only available when run from the development
environment? Thanks.

Ah, succinct.

Seems odd that it's still displayed like a hyperlink, then (blue and
underlined). Well, I guess I'll run the application from my dev
environment instead.

mmm, not liking to take no for an answer I tried again (from my EXE, run
on runtime, in VFP 9.0). To my surprise, the hand appeared and link
fired up! Don't know what to think now...

Interestingly, the following does not launch in runtime but does launch
in dev environment:

(www.microsoft.com)

However, the following launches in both:

( www.microsoft.com)
