I have made a chm help file called scgHelp.chm
I have "set help on"
Set help to scgHelp.chm

It works great on my system XP Home, however my customers with XP Home,

I believe you need to distribute two extra files if installing a Visual
FoxPro application on a system that does not have FoxPro installed. See
these articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base for more information:

FoxPro 6.0: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=194196
FoxPro 7.0: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=314296

Thanks Fred,
but I don't think this is what my problem is.
My customers download a large compiled .exe file.
Once on their computer, they double click on the icon and it installs all
the files to a directory on their computer.
Then they can run my program.
The .chm file is in the same directory as the program.
This has nothing to do with the internet or internet explorer.
Any other ideas ?

Pete,
Sorry, I sent the two files to a customer and he installed them in the same
directory as the program. He ran the program and the help files still don't
work. Clicking on help in the program does nothing.

It works fine in my program, I'm just at a loss as what to do.
Thanks for your help.

Putting them in the same folder isn't necessarily the total solution if the
components need to be regisdterd.

Anders,

Thank you so much.
Registering the two files was the answer.
