Stefan,

Copy your old one first - you may need it ...

eg. XmlAdapter, Object Properties, Methods, and Events
All the links on the properties and methods have disappeared

Same for Textbox. I have not looked any further

Hey, Thanks Gregory -

That's crious, I had tried a few things and now again after reading
your posting but have not seen a missing link yet -
for example, these seem to work fo me:
selected a Textbox in the Form Designer and chose Help from
the context menu of several properties in the Property Pane.
Then I tried HELP TableUpdate() in the command window
and F1 and tried to type "XMLAdapter class" directly in the Help
"Index" page: Double click gave "Topics Found" dialog with two
choices "XML Adapter Class" and "XML Adapter Object Properties,
Methods, and Events" and both appeared OK.

-Stefan

Stefan,

What I mean is.

Start the helpfile by double clicking on it
In the index, type textbox
You'll see: textbox control
hit ENTER
take: Object Properties, Methods, and Events

The page (frame) on the right contains all properties and methods.
No property, no method is underligned as it is on my SP2 helpfile

Do you see what I am seeing ?

Things that should be done with the downloaded chm file:

Don't download it into VFPs HOME() Dir, because you need to do some things
to make that help file function correctly, especially in Vista systems:

1. Download CHM to some public folder eg your profile/"my documents",
somewhere you also have write access.

2. Depending on your OS and your Internet security settings, the CHM may
got flagged as insecure, because it was directly downloaded from an
external
source without using any installer. Then you get "Cannot display
content" or
similar errormessages. In that case, rightclick on the CHM, choose
Properties and select the "Allow" option.

3. Start the CHM file by doulbee click and a CHW file should automatically
be created, at least when you activate the inidex or search tab.

4. Overwrite CHM and CHW files in HOME() with the new ones.

Bye, Olaf.

more precise: have write access also without an
elevation diolag appearing.

No way to fix that problem.
Open html source from chm, and you'll find that all links are missing in all
PEM for all objects.

Paul,

Do not use the new help file - use the one that came with sp2.
When you find a missing index entry, loop it up via search

true, it's still the better option.
Even if you do all the steps I recommended
you don't get a new chw file, links to PEMs
are missing, there is no favourites tab and
the title bar shows "dv_foxhelp91" instead
of "Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0".

Bye, Olaf.

Hey Craig -

this fix you have listed over at

Doesn't help me - as I don't see an 'unblock' anywhere.
