What would cause the following message to appear when a user is running an
application I've written? I've not had it with other users running it.
The user has an AMD processor with 523,000 KB mem running Windows2000
Professional.

Error message: "Unable to open dialog"

They then click on OK and continue with the program and all appears to work
fine. It seems to have no consistent time it does it.

That's not a VFP error message that I've ever seen or heard of.

Is there anything else running on that machine? Virus scan?

Hi Rusty:

What version of VFP are you using?

When does the error occur? Does it occur when you start the executable or
when you perform a certain task, like printing?

Is this application a COM object or a regular Windows EXE?

I hope this helps.
