Thank you.

John,
Are you directly accessing this listserver through the MS news server =
(msnews.microsoft.com), or are you using a "mirror" (e.g. hosted by your =
ISP)?

MS keeps them pretty clean, but many of the mirrors don't. Another =
reason to go to the "source"!

Hi John,

There isn't a moderator as such. If you read these groups from Microsoft's
news server (msnews.microsoft.com) they may be deleted from there, but if
you read them from your ISP's server, then deleting them from Microsoft's
server will not necessarily delete them from the server you're reading from.

Is there a difference between:
news.microsoft.com
msnews.microsoft.com
?

Hello, Zeke!

No, the only difference is the DNS name... IP address is the same.
