I can't seem to get a response from Xitech on the issue but they advertise
the Cryptor IV is compatible with VFP 8 but there is not an fll for VFP8
included in my copy. Is there an fll for VFP8? And if so does anybody have
it and can I get a copy. This should not be a problem as I can't use the
fll without a legit copy of he rest and I have that and all. But it makes
it a little hard to use the product in VFP8 without the fll since you have
to have the proper version of the dll for each version of VFP that is
supported. I have tried emailing Xitech on the issue several times and have
not gotten any response from them at all.

Hi Cyrus:

I don't have a copy of Cryptor IV, so I cannot test this issue. How do you
know you don't have an FLL for VFP 8.0? Do you get an error when you try
to call Cryptor in VFP 8.0? Does it run in previous versions of VFP and
not in VFP 8.0?

I hope this helps.

Yes, I have fll's for vfp5 vfp6 and vfp7 and if I try to use any of them
with vfp8 it says it must be for the specific version. Of course the vfp6
one works just fine with vfp6 but neither it or the vfp7 version will work
with vfp8.

Being a Cryptor user myself I was curious about this and emailed them, this
was the response I got:

************
The upgrade of the FLL's is £35 GBP (approx $49 USD)
Fax order to +44 1707 267777
Alternatively you may wish to upgrade to Cryptor 5.0
An evaluation copy is available from:
www.xitech.co.uk/xidownload/evals/Cryptor50_Eval.exe

Hi Cyrus:

If it works in VFP 7.0, can you create a VFP 7 executable and call it from
your VFP 8.0 executable?

I hope this helps.
