Is there a generic connectstring which can be used when it is not known
which odbc version the user has? I have noticed that some versions of the
string differs between Windows (or office) versions and also between
language versions.

I have not had alot of experience with Access databases, but it seems like
OLEDB is the way to go.

You can also try posting your question to this newsgroup. They may be more
