I'm seeing a steady increase of junk email with ZIP file attachments. Here
are some subject line samples:

Be damn goood in it
Smart in bed games
Don't get left behind, get it
On top all night
Take her to seven heaven
Don't let your dream mate pass you by

Attachment names look like this: v.zip, a.zip, p.zip

Our Exchange2k3 anti junk email (sender/recipient/connection/sender ID
filtering, up-to-date IMF) are all enabled but we're still seeing quite a
few of these craps with a zip attachment making it to the mailbox. Is this a
new spammers trick to penetrate spam filters or is it a new virus/trojan
horse outbreak?

I'm not familiar much with IMF, but my understanding is that it doesn't do
attachment filtering. Other antispam services do, though.

I do have antivirus/antispam software installed in addition to Exchange
built-in spam protection. I'm blocking all ZIP files. I found out about the
increase of email with ZIP attachments because of the notifications I get
from AV filter whenever it blocks email with ZIPs. It's no big deal. I just
want to see if everyone else out there is having the same problem. Perhaps
this is a new wave of spam.
