Would like to Defrag my Exchange 2003 Server's C: drive. Information Stores
are located on separate drive already. Transaction logs are located at
c:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\mdbdata. Question is can I defrag the C: Drive
with the Transaction Logs located where they are, or do I need to move them?
The only drive available to move them to is a RAID 5 volume and I don't
really want to do that because of performance issues. Thanks in advance.

Defrag aside: Keep in mind that for performance tuning - you'd want to have
the transaction logs on a different drive other than the one holding the
Database files AND the system files.

you can defrag the drive, but it would be best if they weren't terribly
active (perhaps shut down exchange late at night to run the defrag?)
