My phone is unable to exchange 07 activesync because of a permission issue.
I suspect the IIS virtual directory is corrupted and would like to delete it
and recreate it.

I tried running the commands remove-activesyncvirtualdirectory
exchclient\microsoft-server-activesync and the error I receive is the
operation could not be performed because the objec
'exchclient\microsoft-server-activesyn' could not be found on the domain
controller 'vm.dreamxscape.net'.

I dont think my syntax is incorrect. any suggestions?

Thanks,
Rich

Is "exchclient" the name of the client access server?

Try using this instead (_including_ the quotes):
"exchclient\microsoft-server-activesync (default web site)"
