Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

A previous question regarding upgrading the student edition for the exchange support was asked.

The reply stated that no upgrades were available for the student/home edition.

I wanted a clarification as to whether this was the case for 2008 Office edition. I purchased the student edition of 2008. I had previously been under the impression that we would not be on an exchange server at work, and thus just got the student version. Can I upgrade the 2008 student version to the office one? I have only had it for a few months, and buying another 2008 version is a rather expensive option. Any advice?

thanks -sgg

Looking on the Mactopia web site, the 2008 full edition upgrade is only
licensed for upgrades from 2004 and below - nobody seem to have thought
that people may want to 'cross-grade' from the H&S edition.

I suggest you email MS Support and ask the question. Start here:
