I'm using entourage 2004 with Panther on 2 different computers (iMac and
G3). I'm using the time zone of Jerusalem, and everything seems to be
configured ok (on the system and on Entourage).
the problem is that all the events in the calendar are 1 hour later then the
times I inserted. It's very confusing. I'm looking for a clue for the bug(?)
cause, and for a solution. Thanks.

There's no bug. You have to get your time zone set correctly in both System
Preferences/Date & Time, and in Entourage's Preferences/Calendar.

It may be late for the events you already made, depending on which pref was
wrong (you'll see after restarting Entourage). You may have to fix those. In
future everything will be OK.

I guess that there IS a bug. To get the right timing I had to set
Entourage's Preferences/Calendar "default time zone for new events" as
Helsinki instead of Jerusalem (in Entourage X I had the same problem, only
during the summer Daylight savings time).

What's the bug? Wrong time for Jerusalem? Does Entourage not know about
summer time there?

Yes, I guess that Entourage doesn't know the right time here.

Maybe if you tell Date/Time prefs not to set Daylight Savings time
automatically?
