Hi,

Is there a threshold size for the main identity database that should be
cause for corruption worries? My current size is about 1.1 GB.

Thanks.

you don't say what version you are using, but an un-ptched original
Office vX database could be up to 2GB in size. An up to date office 2004
or 2008 database has no size limitation, but has a limit to the number
of entries it can contain (something like a million records, if I
remember correctly.

Sorry. I have Office 2008, 12.1.1.

Thanks.

Is there a way to know how many records I have?

Not that I've heard. But consider this:

If you send/receive 500 messages per day everyday and *never* delete
them then you wouldn't hit the 1,000,000 mark for about 5-1/2 years. ;-)

Hope this helps!

it's (very roughly) double the number of emails.

you can count the emails using a script like "Count the Mail" which you
can find on my scripts page:
