Not to mention:

alt.binaries.test
alt.control.test
alt.test
alt.test.group
alt.test.only
alt.testing

...and the list goes on...

People who post test messages to news groups like this one are showing a
distinct lack of respect for proper etiquette.

On the same topic that's starting to get me these days: reposting the
same (already answered) question over and over again.

Yup, but that's just the way these things go. I would say that most
Entourage users aren't subscribers to this newsgroup, so they don't
see the same question being asked, over and over again, necessarily.
And not everyone "gets" the idea of searching a newsgroup for answers,
either. You can appreciate that Joe Average will be more comfortable
asking a question about their problem, in language they're comfortable
with. That means, inevitably, a ton of duplication.

The efforts that you and the other MVPs put in here is much
appreciated, btw! Thanks... Pw

Yep. Unfortunately, by putting a web interface on news groups,
Microsoft is inviting people of the "Google mentality" to post. Such
folks have no concept of community or etiquette. To them, this is just
another web site or blog. This is the result.

Well and that's different. I'm not even talking about posting questions
other have already asked before them. I'm talking about (a handful) of
people reposting the same exact question *they* posted previously, just
to see if they get a different answer :-(

Always a pleasure ;-)

These people have no manners, plain and simple.
