Hello,

I had one of these errors pop up today:

-a read/write error has occured (-51)

This only happens when trying to send, email is coming in fine. Seems like
a pretty clear error, but I have no r/w issues on the server, or the local
Mac, no limits on storage either. I have 10 other Macs with the same config
(Entourage v.X with all the patches, to an Exchange 2k server) operating
normally, wich is leading me to think this may be an issue with the Mac
itself. This error message does not seem to be listed at microsoft.com or
on any of the MVP sites.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ernie

A shot in the dark but I think -50 is parameter error, which you'd likely
get if you ran incompatible versions of Office and its components. I'd say
run the Office remover and reinstall Office on that machine. Also, try
setting up a different user on that machine and see if it fixes the problem.
Last resort would be to reinstall the OS.
