If you have dozen folders and accidentally drop an e mail in one of them,
how can you search for it -- without having to search in each folder ,
folder by folder (which is not working for me) thanks.

Create a custom mail view. As long as you have some info on what to add to
the search, it will find your message.

If this is a recent version of Entourage, it's accessible by a Spotlight
search, including every single email item.

Entourage also offers its own internal database search. Type command-F or
option-command-F for the various search functions.
