    - entourage mail issue I have a long list of stored emails in a folder in Entourage for Mac OX x.     - Entourage via internet? (a la outlook via internet) In the windows word there is an option for Outlook users to pick up their email via the internet (i.e. no VPN or other technology is needed). I believe outlook makes RPC calls using HTTP to the exchange server. Is there an equivelent function for Mac users running Entoruage?     - Conduit manager crashes When I try to update my calendar the Conduit Manager core dumps. I have tried setting all recurring events to stop in Jan 2004. Tried rebuilding Entourage DB (this worked the first time this crash happened, but doesn't anymore). Tried reinstalling the Handheld Sync Installer. All to no affect. Does anyone have anything else I can do. I am so frustrated. Everything was working so awesomely until today. I've already imported my mail from OSX Mail, and imported my addresses another way from a script I found.     - Saving Microsoft Office vCards to Entourage address book Recently I am having trouble saving vCards that I email from a Microsoft Office computer to the Entourage Address Book of my iMac computer. When I click open (in Entourage) the email containing the vCard, my Apple OS 9/10 address book opens. I can save the contact information into OS address book, but can not get it into Entourage.     - Floating blue bracket Out of the blue, I am getting a floating blue right bracket in e-mails = as I=20 write them. It is impossible to delete, and comes up in every e-mail I=20 compose.     - Bouncing dock icon Up until recently my entourage x dock icon has bounced ONCE on encountering a mail retrieval problem. For no apparent reason it has now started bouncing continuously until acknowledged - which is a pain in the ****.     - Entourage - Annoying multiple reminders!!!! Ever since I applied the most recent updates to Entourage X, I get multiple calendar reminders for every event I have reminders turned on. I've tried deleting events and recreating them but have had no success in getting this issue resolved. For example, when a reminder pops up, I will hit either dismiss or snooze. The reminder goes away, just to immediately pop-up again with the exact same reminder. I always have to dismiss it twice to get it to go away. However, if the reminder takes place 10 minutes in advanced and I dismiss it (twice), it will give me yet another two reminders at the actual time of the event, which I again have to dismiss twice! I can't turn these reminder off all together as that would defeat the purpose of putting these events in the calendar in the first place. I'm getting really annoyed by this.     - Entourage Quits when trying to switch identities Entourage randomly quits when switching identities. It randomly occurs with all 3 established identities. What will happen, specifically, is that I will choose "switch identities" either on the menu or by keyboard shortcut, and the dialog box to choose the identities never appears. When I try again, it crashes. I've slimmed down my databases and rebuilt them, both the simple and advanced rebuilds, but this hasn't helped.     - Search by Interests We own a small clothing boutique. Often we have requests for specific items and I've been entering those into "Interests" under the Personal tab. I'd like to periodically search the field for specific items so that if they are in the store I can e-mail for call the customer. However, I am now realizing that this is not a searchable field and, to boot, you cannot create a custom field in the Personal tab.     - Entourage/Palm/Outlook I have a Mac iBook at home and a PC at work. I had been Hotsyncing my Palm Vx to the Palm desktop on my iBook and to Outlook (using Chapura) at work. I switched to the Entourage conduit on the Mac and now the Palm will not Hotsync with Outlook. Any suggestions as to how to make both conduits work would be appreciated. (Also, three members of my family Hotsync their Palms with the Mac. The Palm desktop recognised them automatically but using Entourage each person has to manually change the conduit setting in Hotsync. Is there any way around this?)     - Duplicate email download via POP I access a pop account with entourage. I have it set to leave messages on server for 10 days. I receive emails and delete some, read some etc. Every few days, however, Entourage re-downloads all of the messages (often several hundred) and I have to sort through them again.     - Save as Web Page When I save my calendar as a web page, I'd like all of the associated files to have the same names and paths as before, but Entourage doesn't allow this; it says the name is already taken. I end up having to delete the files first before I can save an update to my calendar, which is very fussy and annoying.     - Cannot print email After using Entourage for about a year, I have suddenly developed a problem. I can no longer print an email message. I can print from other applications (Safari, iPhoto, etc.). I can even print newsgroup message using Entourage. But when I select a email message and click on the print button or do a File -> Print, I get the spinning color wheel and Entourage is locked up until I do a Force Quit. I am running Entourage version 1.1.4 on a dual G$ Mac with OS version 10.3 and a Canon S820 printer. The only software change that I made recently is installing some software for a Canon scanner.     - Error 192 After upgrading to 10.3 in mid-November, my wife and I started using Entourage with Fast User Switching enabled. After 2 days, we both received error -192 from Entourage, so I searched this forum and found a similar report and a recommendation to make sure the 10.1.5 Entourage update had been applied. I checked and found we were on 10.1.4, so I applied 10.1.5. Also, I performed a regular rebuild of both Entourage databases (for each user - my wife's and mine). The error still occurred after a few days, so I performed an advanced rebuild on both databases. My wife just alerted me to an error - she doesn¹t remember if -192 was the exact error, but by the time I looked into it, the exact same behavior was present (i.e. Can not Quit Entourage, must do a 'Force Quit' using Activity Monitor; mouse-over of any of the 6 action panes (Mail, Address Book, calendar, Notes, Tasks, Custom) changes the icon to a grid with no icon).     - Entourage X and IMAP Adminstration Hello, On MacOS 9 and Outlook Express 5, I had configure an adminstrative account (by using the 626 port) to manage the user's accounts on my server (G4 with MacOS 9 and AppleShare IP 6). I recently moved on MacOS X (Panther) and Entourage X. I successfully imported all data from OE. Everything seems to work fine except the Adminstrative account. Impossible to get the full list of folders for this account (with OE I had one folder for each user). Each time I have the following error: "Error -17949, LIST completed". I tried to configure a similar account with the Mail application provided with Panther and everything run as expected! Is there any advice about this problem ?
