I have spent some more time on this since my earlier post.
* installed Palm Desktop 4.2.1
* created a new user identity to see if my Palm user identity was corrupted;
got the same result which was that I couldn't double-click and open the
Entourage preferences in HotSync Manager and Entourage wouldn't sync.
* tried moving around the various .plist and preferences files I could find
to no avail. And like grubin, reinstalled both the Palm Desktop and the
Handheld Sync Installer several times.
Until today, my Entourage 2004 sync had been working just fine. What I did
just prior to the problem was a/copy some of my Documents to Go apps to the
expansion card (for a complicated and not logical reason) and b/upload
several pictures to docs to go on the expansion card. I wondered if I had
created a problem with duplicate docs to go apps on the T2 and the expansion
card and have since deleted the duplicates; no relief.
To repeat and clarify, the problems I'm exhibiting are #1 Entourage does not
sync #2 when I go into Conduit Settings and double click "double click to
see", nothing happens.
