I'm running a G4 with Panther OS and Entourage. I also logon to a Win
2000 machine with Outlook. Our server runs Exchange 2000. Frequestly
my password will lock on the server. This happens even after
successfully running Entourage for hours. I can't seem to replicate
the problem, it seems to be random. IT is tired of unlocking my
password. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Please make sure that you have set the account lockout policy to at least 10
unsuccessful tries, which is MS recommended approach (look for Account
Policy Whitepaper on MS Windows Technical Resource website if you need more
details) in this regard as there are many programs which send credentials
multiple times to authenticate against multiple resources (AD, different
stores on Exchange Server, etc.) on the server side. See if that helps you
in taking care of this issue. Otherwise take TCPFlow and NetMon Traces both
on Server and Client sides to analyze this issue in further depth.

For TCPFlow Trace:
