Hi,
I still can¹t get .mac to send mail from Entourage. I can receive. It
works from Mail (OSX) and directly from .Mac via Safari. How can I get it
to work from Entourage. I¹ve tried a bunch of stuff.

Frank

It works fine here.

Set your SMTP server in the account to "smtp.mac.com", and in the advanced
dialog set it to authenticate using the "receiving" (ie IMAP) settings.

Cheers,

Chris

"A bunch is stuff" is not very informative, so you're probably going to get
a lot of us wasting our time telling you to do things you've already done.

Tools/Accounts/.Mac/Edit/

Assuming you have the account set up as IMAP (you haven't told us that
either):

SMTP server: smtp.mac.com

Click advanced sending options: ? SMTP server requires authentication
? Same settings as
receiving

Except: there are some ISPs who won't allow you to send from any SMTP server
other than their own (it helps prevent relaying by spammers). If your ISP is
one of those - you have to ask them - then you have to use their SMTP server
(at zoominternet.net, presumably) which effectively means using .mac as POP
rather than real IMAP.
