Many ISPs will not allow you to send mail through another ISPs server. You
can send using different e-mail addresses, but the outgoing mail server must
be the server for your ISP in such cases. For instance, if my ISP is
Earthlink, the outgoing mail server is smtp.earthlink.net. I can have
accounts on mac.com, gmail, or whatever, and send mail that says it is from
those addresses, as long as the server is Earthlink's.
