Hi all

we've one entourage 2004 user here (latest SP and update installed) we set
him up on exchange yesterday and everything's nearly working.

Under address book (or when I go to add an address to an email) I get the
servers address group but no entries show up unless I perform a search!
Likewise under address book I can expand through the list of "address
groups" on our exchange server but if I click or double click no names show
up on the right, again they will only show up if I search for something
(search for g all entries with g in their name appear)

has anyone come accorss this before? can anyone help me stop this weird
behaviour?
cheers for any help

Update in case people are in the same boat as me, this is related to
Entourage SP2 and came from MS:

LDAP is a bit different, in order to support browsing the GAL, you must have
a Windows 2003 domain controller. Entourage takes advantage of a new LDAP
feature in Win2k3 servers known as VLV. If you are connecting Entourage to a
Win2k DC, you'll get a search only GAL (though you still get all the address
auto-completes and organizational information).
