 - Invites not getting sent Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel Email Client: pop When I create a meeting in the calendar and invite someone in 90% of the time Entourage crashes...so I create the meeting and close it to save it to my calendar then re-open it and invite in attendees and close it (there are no other actions available)...when i reopen that event it states "This invitation has not been sent" How do I get the invitations to send?  - Sent Folder Not Syncing - Entourage 2008 Hi, I have a problem ... and tried to search the group for an answer, but could not find one. My Sent folder is not getting copies of messages that I send via Webmail, BB or another Outlook 2003 client. Both Webmail and Outlook show all the messages I sent, but Entourage 2008 is only showing the messages I sent from it. Am I missing something really basic here?  - Multiple Mail Accounts / Rules Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: intel Email Client: pop I have multiple email accounts and I have set them up using the "Allow online access (shows account in folder list)" option. I have also created a rule to send mail to the appropriate boxes. My problem with this is that a copy of the email shows up in MY INBOX (On My Computer, which is very annoying. I select "Move to Folder" and a copy stays in the seperate mailbox and My Inbox. When I want to delete the the last two, they all are deleted. I also have created several rules for different incoming email and unless I manually say "Apply Rules" everytime I see email show up, it does not work. Please help. Version: Entourage X for Macintosh Service Release 1, v. 10.1.0 Suddenly, a month ago, this all started to happen: Upon opening Entourage, error msg above. Symptoms: All commands/actions can only be performed through top menu bar. Have to dbl click on new messages to view them - they no longer appear in the main window as I single click on them. They only go non-bold when I reply to that msg. Can't move them into folders as I always have done by click/drag.  - My calender events do not display on the correct dates Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel Email Client: pop I created a 6 day event that displays on the 31 day calendar a week prior to the actual dates. When I open the event the dates are correct but when I close it it displays on the calendar a week prior to the actual dates.  - Entourage Calandar Question - Thanks Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel Email Client: pop When I open my calandar in Entourage, its specifically "highlights" or places a pink shade to the specific day it is. Is there anyway to change this color, or even darken the shade so that it is more visable? Currently, it is a light pink shade which is not very visable contrasted next to the white color of the calandar. I have looked for options in the preferences menu to no avail. Thanks.  - Every PDF file rec'd via Ent. '08 email attachment is "damaged" Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel Every PDF file attachment I receive thru Entourage eMail will not open in Acrobat 7.0 Professional (or any other program such as Preview, Canvas, Word). Each time I attempt to open an attached PDF file, Acrobat gives me this error message "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired". I have emailed PDF files to myself (these are files that will open in Acrobat before emailing them) and these give me the same error message. Word documents coming thru Entourage open fine.  - 12.0.1 - No auto-update, sync bugs still remain. Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Power PC Email Client: pop 1. After seeing the 12.0.1 update was available I continually tried to do 'AutoUpdate' from the help menu. No updates found. I eventually downloaded the stand alone installer and ran that. 2. Admittedly, my own error, forgot, did not pay close enough attention, etc, I forgot to turn off Office Notifications before running the update. This left me with Entourage still at version 12.0 To fix it I had to log out, log in with shift key, un-install office 2008, re-install office 2008, run the 2.1.1 updater and then run the 12.0.1 updater. Now Entourage was at the right version. Maybe the next updater that comes out should quit all Office Apps and background apps like the notification engine?? 3. Anxious to see if sync duplication for calendar events is fixed, I re-enabled sync in Entourage, stupidly forgetting that I had previously deleted my entourage calendar from iCal. Thus all of my entourage calendar entries were deleted when the sync occurred. What a disaster. Thankfully I had a backup of an old iCal calendar database so I re-imported that into iCal's Entourage calendar, which then synced back to Office 2008 Entourage, so I got most of my calendar events back. However, after the sync, the timezone for all my events was, once again, set to Casablanca, Monrovia... Ug. Thankfully I had an Applescript provided by a very helpful person from this board that changed Monrovia timezones to Eastern timezones.. I have not seen any sync duplicates yet but it has only been a short time. I guess we'll see what happens on that one.. And now I will vent: I realize that some of these issues are considered to be 'user error' but just the same I am still very frustrated by this experience. I was chugging along on Office v.X for years with no problems. I wish I had never updated to Office 2008. It has NOT been worth the hassle.  - Sync Services still not working with 12.0.1 update Hi everyone, I am still having trouble with Sync Services under the new 12.0.1 update. The syncing of iCal and the Entourage calendars work perfectly fine for me. However, if I edit a contact in Entourage or Address Book, the changes are not reflected in the other application.  - Entourage 2008 & Exchange 2007 problem All: Ever since upgrading to Office 2008, I experience the following error in Entourage 2008 connected to Exchange 2007: "Unable to establish a secure connection to my.exchange.server. (0)" ..with two buttons. I think that the buttons are the standard "Cancel" and "OK"; however, I cannot verify this because they are either blank or filled with garbled/Chinese text. Clicking what I think is the "OK" button causes Entourage to become unresponsive to clicks. Specifically, my clicks register; items are highlighted, but never "un-highlighted" (I can highlight multiple items in the main window without the window refreshing). A force-quit is the only thing that causes Entourage to come back to life. Incidentally, I sometimes see the same garbled button text when other errors/alerts appear. Thinking that this was a font issue, I have searched out and removed all duplicate fonts, deleted font caches, etc. to no avail. I have also tried the following method for manually importing the server cert, but this has not resolved the issue either: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq_topic/leopard.html#leo5> I applied the 12.0.1 update yesterday and still see the error.  - iCal and Address Book sync suddendly stopped working Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel iCal and address Book syncing was working fine and then today I noticed I wasn't seeing updates from Entourage making it into iCal or Address Book. It looks like the problem started a week ago. I've turned syncing off and then back on, tried creating a new indentity, rebooted, installed the just-released Office 2008 update but syncing is still not working. The Error Log item in the Window menu of Entourage is grayed out. The only thing that has happened recently is I had to rebuild my system from scratch after Boot Camp Assistant panicked while partitioning my hard drive.  - QuickLook and Entourage Mail Messages I was hoping that QuickLook would work with Entourage mail messages after this update to 12.0.1, but it does not. Does it work for anyone?  - Sync problems still remain in the 12.0.1 update So I've tested 12.0.1 and sync to see if the same issues (mainly dups) remain. They do. If you create a task and it sync's to iCal and then you change anything in the iCal task, the new information will sync back to Entourage but as a new item. The original item will be there with the original info and the new item will have the new information. Deleting the original item will have no effect in iCal but also deleting the new item in Entourage will not delete the item in iCal. Additionally, now if you scan your calendar, all all day entries a couple months back in the calendar to the building will be duplicated. This happened before the upgrade. To test whether this occurred as a result of the dup of the task, I restored my backup iCal and my backup of the Entourage main identity and both calendars were correct, without the dups (made sure I had turned sync off before reverting). So the dup that is created in Entourage for some reasons affects all day events and they then get dup'd in entourage and iCal. To avoid this, I found that if I made any changes after creating a calendar event, the only safe way of adding or changing information was to do it in Entourage. This replicates fine to iCal and then to the Palm. However, if you change or add any information on the Palm or in iCal, you inevitably get a duplicated record in iCal (as above) and then the calendar's all day events for some reason dup. This behavior is specific to iCal and does not happen if Entourage sync is turned off and you just use iCal. Problems do turn up in this scenario also, a problem with Apple's sync services, but Entourage adds a different layer of issues. Tag: entourage 2004 send/receive not working Tag: 91701

 - entourage calendar shows wrong time Version: v.X Operating System: Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) Processor: Power PC Email Client: pop When I enter a new appointment in the calendar it changes the time ahead 1 hour. At the top of the window the message reads "In the Calendar, the event time has been adjusted for your time zone". Adjusting to the wrong time is not a help! Daylight savings is already here. How do I get it to read the correct time?? Also, the version I am running is 10.1.6. Is this current?  - 12.0.01 update does not fix Entourage Notification Sounds I ran the 12.0.1 updater in the hope that the Entourage/OS 10.5 sound issue would be resolved - as promised in the update description. The Entourage version now reads 12.0.1 and the update seems to have gone smoothly. "sorry, you must specify a domain (#5.1.1 - chkuser)" It is error -17099 It started happening after a I tried to send an email earlier. I have since closed that email message and I delete each error message as it pops up in the error log, but it keeps happening. I am afraid it is causing problems to my incoming email as well b/c they are all delayed. Does anyone know how to resolve this. I am using Entourage 2004 with IMAP server. Thanks in advance.  - Daylight savings changed Calendar Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel Email Client: pop All of my recurring calendar events that were originally created in Mac Mail and imported into Entourage have moved forward an hour with the time change. For instance, my recurring Tu-Th 10 meetings are now at 11 am instead. My time and date are synced with Apple. I have tried opening the series and resetting the times to 10 am, but that does not work. The series shows that it is set for 10 am, yet still shows 11. Please advise. But now, whenever I go to my main address book and create a new contact there, a duplicate of the contact is also put in the Group folder as if it were another group. have my "send/receive all" set to check for new messages every two minutes. but i am not getting any of my new message. i have to click on the other email account, then click back onto my inbox in order for any new messages to pop up. Can anyone help me resolve this issue? am on an imap server.

Every two minutes might be too short of a time. Try setting to 5 min and see
if the problem improves.

In Schedules, open your IMAP schedule --> Select "Click here for account
options" select your folders.
