Hi there again,

Recently, after upgrading to Entourage 2008 for 2 weeks, I noticed that
every morning when I boot up my Mac, Entourage tells me that it cannot find
the database, and needs to rebuild/ compact it, etc.

I did not do anything. And after rebuilding, some of my settings are lost.

Every single morning... What is happening?

Please enlighten, thanks a lot fellas.

Cheers,

This doesn't make sense to me - if it can't find the database, how would
Entourage rebuild/compact it?

In any case, did you move the Microsoft User Data folder out of your
Documents folder? Or rename it? It really needs to be there (or you can
use an alias)

Are your disk permissions set correctly (use the Disk Utility app to
check)?
