default appointment length

How do I change the defaults of an appointment in Entourage from 30
minutes to 1 hour?

Sorry, you can't. However, if you select a time period in the weekly/daily
calendars, then click the new button, you will get a new appointment with
the start and end times set according to your initial selection.

You can send feedback to the developers on this issue. Use the last menu
item under the 'Help' menu - "Send Feedback on Entourage". This message will
go directly to the developers. The more people that request this feature the
more likely it is to be implemented.

Interestingly, I think if you are using Month view, instead of daily/weekly,
then the default is 1 hr. At least for me.

Yes, that's right, it is.

I wish the default in month view was an all day event. Since time periods
aren't shown there, only full days, that would seem more logical to me :)

there are more than a few 'illogical' and careless things in entourage
but at least its stable 99% of the time unlike windows apps.
