Hi Russ!
If you have a large Inbox then syncing Entourage with Exchange will
definitely take quite a while. The Inbox is synchronized more often than
other folders within the account. For best results you should keep
your Inbox as small as possible.
And it makes sense that you're seeing Entourage read the Databasee file
a lot. That's the core of your data and all reads/writes/changes will
happen with that file.
