 - setting up 2 addresses in one account I have a home and business account with same settings. I have to set = them=20 up as separate identities therefore having to switch to see if I have = mail. Is it=20 possible to put them in the same account but to be able to view them=20 separately?  - Getting Entourage and Exchangfe server to actually work Can anybody explain to me why it is such a pain to get entourage to work with the exchange server to synchronize calender events and such? I have been trying to get this to work (on and off) for months now, without any success. I don't get any help from our ICT people since they just do not support anything mac related. What really frustrates me that when I use the trial version of a program called Groupcal to export my iCal calender to the exchange server, it works instantly and all my calender events show up in OWA. Then I use the same settings with Entourage for the Free/Busy server, and I get no synching whatsoever. Moreover there is no insight to what Entourage is doing, whether it actually connects to the Free/Busy server, or WHEN it actually tries. An option 'synch now' or something would at least let us know instantly whether it is working or not. It is amazing that with a third party software package DEMO, I get everything working instantly and with a microsoft program it has to be ever so complicated. Needless to say of course that the automatic configuration option in Entourage fails altogether of course... PS mail is no problem. I have been using it using IMAP and our exchange server for years.  - Complex HTML emails I dont actually have a copy of entourage in front of me but have been asked by a client how he can send complex HTML emails ie is there a way that I can send him a peice of HTML which he can paste into a mail like you can in edit mode in outlook express?  - 2004: MLM & Rules duking it out I'm using Entourage 2004, but there's a prob with mailing List Manager and Rules. I have 4 Yahoo Groups I run a script on as per MLM, these mails all end up in the assigned folders. The 2 lists that are NOT assigned a script refuse to go into their olders Rules are run on all these messages. Haven't really spent too much time on the problem, but is it a known bug?  - Entourage 2004 won't retrieve email I just installed Office 2004 on my machine. Everything seems to have=20 imported fine from Office X, except I can no longer retrieve email. I get the following message: "The server can't be found. Be sure the mail server information is = entered=20 correctly in the Account Manager, and that your DNS settings in the = Network=20 Control Panel are correct."  - Entourage calendar items missing One of our users that is working remotely had all of his calendar items disappear on him yesterday. His laptop is OSX running Entourage 10.1.5 configured to access an Exchange server. All of his email is still there as wells as his tasks just calendar items are missing.  - MVPs: Is Entourage 2004 Mail Junk filter trainable like Apple's A colleague in the MacOSXHints.com forum just asked me if Entourage 2004 is trainable like in Apple's mail or SpamSieve? The Entourage 2004 Mail help notes do not get into the trainable aspects as such. But a new icon appears on the Entourage 2004 mail toolbar. Clicking on it sends a message to the junk folder, rather than delete, so my guess is that it is training. (I've got so many Entourage Mail rules that already label certain kinds of mail as junk and send them to the junk folder that it will take quite a while for me to tell how it works in the trainable sphere.)  - Entourage 2004 kills bug that deviled printing of longer Notes! All the way through Office X's several versions, I had a bug whenever I attempted to print longer Notes. Printing (and print previewing) of Notes ignored anything after the first several lines. Typical and advanced Entourage rebuilds failed to kill the bug. Trashing ALL Office X preferences failed. Even the tedious job of un-installing and re-installing Office X and re-creating all preferences failed. The option of investing the time and tedium to build a new database of Notes under a new identity was unacceptable so I learned to live with the bug by copying and pasting longer notes into Word documents before printing. Office 2004 and Entourage 11 killed the bug! After installing Office 2004 while Office X was still in place and after nearly all my Office X preferences were taken over by Office 2004, my only nagging doubt related to the wisdom of taking the easy way out and whether it would cost me continuation of my Notes printing bug.  - Error 8796 Can't Send Mail Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated... I installed Entourage from the Exchange 2003 client CD, then installed 10.1.4 patch on 3 clients. One works fine, on the other 2 if I try to create new, forward, or reply it either does nothing or returns error 8796. I've checked the configuration many times, and everything is the same as the client that works. I've reinstalled, rebuilt the database and changed identities but the problem persists... Help..!!  - Entourage can't see some of the emails on the Exchange server's My workplace is running the Exchange Server. I am using Entourage vX on a Mac to access the inbox and other folders. Mostly, it works fine. But, every once in a while I notice a discrepancy between what I see in a given folder using the Entourage client and what I see using OWA (Outlook Web Access, which allows me to access the Exchange Server email through a web browser interface). The web clearly shows me a few emails in one of the folders that do not appear in Entourage. What's going on? Why the discrepancy? Why would Entourage not show me emails that exist on the server?  - Entourage X, Exchange 5.5 and Authenticated SMTP Does anyone know about development plans (or backwards capabilities) for Entourage X for the Mac. Here is my two problems: 1) run an exchange server in mixed mode with IMAP not working for some reason 2) use a UNIX based authenticated SMTP (outgoing mail server) Of course we could fix IMAP by going to native mode but still this doesn't solve the problem of the authenticated SMTP.  - Error 1025 when trying to delete items from exchange public folder Am using entourage version 10.1.4 sr 1 on OS X and Exchange 2000. While trying to delete an item from an exchange public folder I get this error: An error occurred on the imap server. The server returned the following error There is no replica for that mailbox on this server.. error: 1025 I checked exchange system manager and there is a replica for that folder on the same server as the mailbox. I can delete with other imap clients. I can delete with mapi and outlook web access but not entourage so I'm sure it is not a rights issue. I have editor rights to the folder.  - Calendar synchronization I'm getting synchronization errors. It appears to happen with a = scheduled=20 calendar event that someone has invited me to attend. The error: Could not synchronize record: Updated: <some meeting>=20 to Exchange server: <username> - Exchange Account Error -50 Restarting Entourage does not help. You need to give more info on the original query and what aspect of whatever
help you received doesn't work - there are lots of posts from 'anonymous'
here, and we can't look through them all!
