I've been a long-time Eudora user, recently switched to Entourage.

In Eudora, there's a feature that allows you to find out what filter was
applied to a given e-mail by selecting the e-mail and then holding down the
shift key while selecting "Filters."

Is there a similar feature anywhere in Entourage? There are times I'd like
to know which of the rules I've set up might be acting on a given message.

I honestly don't know if Entourage has this feature. Unless you already use
categories, you could create new categories to match each rule and then
configure each rule to change the message's category, accordingly. That way,
you will always know what rule was applied.

Cheers!

No. It's a long-standing feature request. You can request it too via "Send
Feedback" in the Help menu. Please do.

Well, I hadn't even noticed the "Send Feedback" option there! I have
submitted this as a feature request. If a few hundred thousand other people
do the same, we might get our wish! ;)

Thanks for the tip, Paul.
