I have AT&T as my internet service provider. And since I have an iMac and Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac, I wanted to check my mail through Entourage rather than the AT&T/Yahoo webmail.

So I set up Entourage. Everything is working fine. However when I open Entourage and receive all of my new messages, they are all marked as "received" at the same time.

For example, when I open Entourage I have 10 new messages that are all "Received", Today 8:24 PM. I know these all couldn't have been sent to me at the same time.

Is there a way to adjust Entourage so that I can see the actual date and time message where sent to me?

Select View --> Columns --> Sent.

Hope this helps!

Try using 3 pane view. The middle column will show the sent times.

In addition, you can sort by sent instead of received. Received time will be
the item you received. So they are all the same.

Check out Views:

You must do this with the Main window to the front and not while you
have an open message to the front.

Hope this helps!

Yes....main window in front....view/columns grayed out.

And I am using 3 panes. The issue is not that the issue is....when I boot up entourage at 5:02 am....105 messages arrived all with their SENT TIME as 5:02 am. They used to have the time dispatched by the sender. For example, one would have 11:45 PM; another 11:57 PM; 1:09 AM; 3:36 am; etc etc.

At the top of the middle pane, select "arrange by" and create a custom
arrangement for how you want mail sorted.

I have been using this program for years and always had it set at "sent". It always worked properly until a couple of weeks ago, when I updated the program. I received the mail with the time that the sender sent their email to me. Now they seem to be timed as to when the SERVER sends them to my Entourage mail client. This is a brand new issue. I really don't think that this is any user error. I know this program extremely well. This issue is new and I cannot seem to fix it. ALL of my emails are labeled with the time that I boot up Entourage, so if I boot it up at 9:06 am ALL of the mail that comes in - even if it is 500 messages they all have 9:06 as their time. Changing the arrange time should not be the issue. It is set to "sent'...it has always been set to "sent". This issue started with the last update that I did for the program.

I can no longer view internet headers either. Nor can I access View/Columns. Something is WRONG.

Let's try to identify the source of the problem.Be sure to set "leave on
server" for the test.

1. test in a new Identity.
2. test in a new User.

What type of account? (POP, IMAP, Exchange) If Exchange, what version?

What version Mac OS X are you running?

What version Microsoft Entourage are you using? Including update if any. How
to find version info:
