Just wondering, what is "Microsoft AU Daemon"? It keeps putting itself
in my user startup items in Mac OS X System Preferences.

It has a generic application icon, and I'm not sure what it's for.

Thanks!

If you open it up (Help | Check for Updates), and tell it to only manually
check for updates, it will not be a startup item.
