OSX10.3, Office 2004

Is there any way to set "View>show unread, so that it just shows the
last 1 week or the last 2 week and hides the rest unless you want to
see all [is view> show unread/read adjustable] ? Is it show just the
unread or all 18,365 pieces of mail, all or nothing? Is there a
script for this? Didn't see anything in preferences.

A Custom View should do this for you. Choose File > New > Custom View.

That is exactly what I wanted, will have to figure out just how to
formulate the wording.
