Views

I am running OS 12.2.8. Until this morning I had a split pane view where I
was able to scroll through the headers in the upper pane and view a
highlighted message in the lower pane. Somehow view changed to a single pane
where I have to double click a message to read it in it's own window.

How can I get back to a split pane view?

When you have a list of message headers open, under the "View" menu, select
the option to view the "Preview Pane".
