I have a couple of questions. The first question is, I was wondering
if there is a way to unsend a messge in Entourage after it has been
sent.

My other question is, I have been having problems with sending emails
with attached graphics. The receiver gets the email but not the
attachment.
I am using Entourage 2004 version 11.3.6

If anyone has an answer to either of these questions I would greatly
appreciate it.

Thanks
Carole

No, once it's sent, it's gone. You can, however, select "Send Later" rather
than "Send Now", which will keep the message in your outbox until your next
"Send & Receive All" schedule.

How are you encoding the attachment? I use "Encode for Windows
(Base64/MIME);no compression; Windows file name extensions". With this
format, almost anyone can read the attachment (assuming they have an
application that is compatible with the one that created the attachment).
You can set the Encoding format either in Entourage\Preferences\Compose or
in the drop-down line at the bottom of the attachments pane (which can be
displayed by clicking the triangle next to "Attachments").

I hope this helps.

There is no way to "unsend" a message in ANY email application. Outlook
allows one to send a "recall" request, but no client has to honor that
request.

Sounds like their email server is stripping it out - what happens when
you send a test message to yourself?

If you are using an Exchange mail account, you may be able to recall the
message from another Exchange user's account using Outlook Web Access or
Outlook client on Windows. Otherwise, there's little you can do for
accounts accessible in Entourage.

Which doesn't really seem to work very well. I get the Recall notices all
the time in my Exchange Inbox, right along with the original message.

Even if it did work, with a multi-recipient message you'd risk having one
person get it (before the Recall) and one not - thus further confusing
things.

Indeed. And when I or anyone else in my office gets one, it just
encourages us to go back to the original email and see why they recalled it.

Just send a follow-up with an apology or a correction.
