Transfer 2001 Entourage Database to 2004 version

Hi, I am operating Entourage 2001 on a G4 OS 9.1 and need to transfer
all my entourage information to a new G5 OS X. What is the most painless
way to do this? I have tried to move (copying the file) the database but
OS X does not recognize it.

Copy the entire identity folder (inside the "Office 2001 Identities" folder)
to the new G5 computer. Insert the original Office 2001 CD into the G5.
Now, open Entourage 2004 on the G5, and go to File > Import. Choose to
"import information from a program", and then choose "Microsoft Entourage
2001". Choose to import everything. In the following screen, click
"Browse", and select the identity folder you copied over. Then all of your
data should import.

Hi Mickey,

Thanks for your help. I will try this during the weeking. I hate having
the IMac sitting there and not being able to fully work with it. Have a
